OBJECT vs PARTICLES
Impulse

Vid1:...3,2,1 IGNITION!

With impulse, you can make objects to be moved by a particle emitter

Here we have a test scene with just a sphere.
We are going to lauch it to space :)

First of all, create an emitter. We have made a circle one, but you can choose what you prefer.
Scale it to fit the size you need.
Particles can be of any type, I mean, you can impulse an object with a fluid, a gas or even with dumb ones. We are going to work with dumb ones. The calculation time will be the faster one.

Then Link it to the object you want to be impulsed . The Geosphere in this example.
To impulse an object in RF3 you MUST link the emitter/s.

Now, in the object´s particle interaction tab, take a look to the Particle force.

This value sets the amount of interaction between particles and the object. I mean, higher values returns more movement in the object, more force applied to it.
By default is set to 1, increase this value to perform a fastest rising.
Then set the Impulse to Yes.

Although is not necesary, we have include a noise daemon linked to the sphere to add a fire look to our dumb particles.

Here is a pic of the entire scene Setup.
