Before you buy, you have the opportunity to "test drive" RealFlow and the RealFlow RenderKit through demo versions. The demo versions will enable you to become familiar with the software and see if it fits in your workflow.

The demo versions are exclusively for evaluation purposes. Using a demo license for commercial purposes is not permitted

Demo version of RealFlow 5

A demo license is built-in to the main RealFlow 5 software package. The demo version of RealFlow 5 has a number of necessary restrictions:

• 30 day time limit – a built-in limitation of 30 days counting from the moment the software is first opened.
• Particle-based fluids limited to 100,000 particles
• Grid-based fluids limited to 500,000 nodes
• The XML Import/Export feature is locked.
• Internal plug-ins will not work with the demo version, although connectivity plug-ins to other 3D platforms are available.
• The Job Manager will not work with the demo version
• Users cannot load workspace files that are not saved with this edition.
• Workspace files from older versions of RealFlow can't be loaded either.
• Workspace files saved with this edition can't be loaded in other editions.
• There is no free RenderKit license with the demo version of RealFlow 5 – a separate RFRK demo version is available (see below)

Demo version of RealFlow RenderKit

A demo license is built-in to each RealFlow RenderKit software package. The demo version of RealFlow RenderKit has a number of necessary restrictions:

• 30 day time limit – a built-in limitation of 30 days counting from the moment the software is first opened.
• RFRK Mesher and RFRK Particler – both limited to 100,000 particles
• RFRK Cloud and RFRK Displacement – both have image resolution limited to 640x480 (total image area – so 1000x307 also possible)

These restrictions will mean that a user can work perfectly well evaluating RealFlow, but will not be able to use their license for commercial work.

One Demo license is valid for one machine, and there are no core restrictions.
